Julie Bernal is a representational visual artist, an oil painter and life drawing enthusiast. Julie’s portraits and figures are mostly human but she loves nature therefore her works also include animals, wild and domestic.
Julie loves to express herself through images and body movement, and she strives to combine these two passions by creating art through music and using flowing, rhythmical lines in her drawings.
Julie interprets an image like a song, a harmony between straights and curves, noise and silence, the brush strokes on a painting are its notes.

Australian artist born in Colombia. Julie is based in Melbourne and is a member of the Hawthorn Artist Society. Julie has developed her craft of classical drawing and painting at:
